Happy Monday! As we continue to navigate the beautiful but sometimes chaotic journey of parenting in 2026, I am incredibly thrilled to share some exciting news with our community. If you have been feeling overwhelmed by the behavior of your child, but you just do not have the time to commit to weekly therapy sessions right now, we have created something completely special just for you. On April 25th at 10:00 AM, my brilliant colleague Samantha Angulo and I, Orianna Torres, will be hosting an intimate parent workshop right here in Plantation, Florida.

We know that modern family life is exceptionally busy. Between school drop offs, sports practices, and your own demanding career, carving out an hour every single week for therapy can feel like an impossible puzzle. But that absolutely does not mean you have to figure everything out on your own. This workshop is designed as a powerful investment in your family dynamic. It serves as an accessible introduction to our therapeutic world, specifically focusing on one of the most transformative concepts in our practice: Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

During our two and a half hours together, Samantha and I will be teaching you practical and effective tools that you can start using at home immediately. Child Directed Interaction is all about rebuilding a joyful connection and letting your child feel truly seen. You will learn exactly how to communicate with your children in a way that minimizes conflict and encourages cooperation. We will dive deep into the art of specific praise and teach you the powerful strategy of selective attention. This is a fantastic way to handle those frustrating and disruptive moments without losing your cool. Think of this morning as a concentrated boost of parenting confidence.

We want this event to be a refreshing break for you, rather than just another item on your to do list. Your registration includes a delicious breakfast to start the morning right, along with specially curated goodie bags for you to take home. We intentionally keep this group extremely small so it will not feel like a massive or impersonal lecture. The intimate setting ensures you feel comfortable and get the absolute most out of our time together.

Perhaps the best part of this small group format is the opportunity to connect with us after the main presentation wraps up. You will have the unique chance to chat directly with both Samantha and myself about your specific situation. We can talk about your individual case, explore exactly what is going on at home, and discuss how we can best assist you.

Taking this step is a beautiful investment in your relationship with your children. If you realize you do need extra help after the workshop, we can easily set up a follow up plan with one of us to keep the positive momentum going.
